Film Review

For all those who cut off your noses to spite your face saying 'Harry Potter is a kids film' well hah - you have just missed an incredible film. Seeing as there has been mixed reviews I can't see the point of view of any of the negatives. Really really incredible. Scary, Freaky (Voldemort seems so much more evil than I had imagined him now I've seen him in human form), Funny, Romantic, Sad. Simply Brilliant. Nuff said. (Ok I've not given Jonathan Ross much a run for his money but there's my opinion!)

It's not that its a "kids film" that I dont watch it. I went and saw the first one and I will quite happily watch pixar/disney. I just don't like fantasy related stuff whether it be kids based or adult based. Lord of the Rings being the one exception which I felt compelled to watch due to the hype, tho I doubt I could sit through them again. It could be argued that all films have an element of fantasy to them they are made up after all but by fantasy I mean wizards, magic and stuff. There is consistency here it is for that reason I don't like superhero films, pirates of the carribean and heman much to your disgust, I'm afraid I have to be interested in the subject to start off with.
